New Years Eve Hike

On New Years Eve David and I decided to go for a Hike. We felt extremely unhealthy as we had just came back from our two week holiday from Malaysia. I am sure this hike didn't burn off all of the delicious fried Malaysian meals and alcohol but it's a start!!!

Upo Wetland- Changnyeong

Upo Wetland is a complex of natural wetlands located in Changnyeong County. It is incredibly pretty in all seasons. It is a lovely place to walk, ride tandem bicycles and enjoy the scenery!

Return of the Avante

Saturday 5th December was a significant day for David and I. It was the day we got our car back. Ms Avante is now ours once again. We bought it back off the guy who we sold it to last time we were in Korea. We had to travel 5 hours all the way to Seoul to get it but it was well worth it! I can't wait to do some exploring in it.

Weekend trip to Busan

At the weekend David and I went to Busan. We done some Christmas shopping in the underground mall. Then we went shopping at Lotte Department store and saw a very large, pretty light/ musical fountain show. In the evening we got some food and then had some beers on the beach. We then spent the night in a classic love motel!

The next day we visited Hadong Yonggun Temple. It was located directly on the ocean. It was beautiful.
After this we done some more Christmas shopping before heading home. All in all a lovely weekend!

Cute!!!

Whilst shopping I came across these really cute little hand creams. I know what everybody is getting for Christmas!

Yongsan

On Sunday 6th David and I decided to walk to Yongsan. This is the closest village to us. It took around one hour to walk but as it was a pretty autumn day I didn't mind!

Busan Firework Festival

On Saturday David and I went to a firework festival in Busan. We went with Shae and Adam from work. It was a spectacular show even though it was pouring down with rain the whole entire time! Beach + rain = uncomfortable!

Yum Yum Bulgogi Jungle!

Bulgogi Jungle is one of our new favourite Korea dishes. The main contents of the meal is delicious meat in an even more delicious sauce. There is a restaurant that specialises in it and it is just a stones throw away from our apartment...NICE!

Hwang-San Hike (Okcheon)

On Sunday 23rd David and I climbed Hwang Mountain again. This time we went the opposite way from last time. We went up the Okcheon side to the Buddha then across and over to the top of Hwang -San! This hike was 10KM. I really enjoyed it as the scenery was beautiful because it is the beginning of autumn and it had rained the day before so there were some scenic mist in the air covering the mountains. I think we enjoyed this hike even more than usual because we noticed that our fitness was much better!

Today David and I went to our first Korean Wedding. Mr Shin's (the Caretaker of CEV) son was the groom. All of the staff went from work. It was such a fabulous day. I really enjoyed being apart of it!
